Join to learn about the Car­di­nal Creek Karst! In the last 2 bil­lion years the Ot­tawa Val­ley has been a huge moun­tain chain, a trop­i­cal beach, habi­tat for whales and buried un­der 2 kilo­me­ters of ice. Please join at the CCCA’s sec­ond Geo­her­itage Day which will be held on Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 20 from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The CCCA in part­ner­ship with Car­leton Univer­sity’s Earth Sciences Depart­ment will be set up on Wat­ters Road East near the bridge and in front of the karst.
