CCCA’s 2nd Geoheritage Day
Join to learn about the Cardinal Creek Karst! In the last 2 billion years the Ottawa Valley has been a huge mountain chain, a tropical beach, habitat for whales and buried under 2 kilometers of ice. Please join at the CCCA’s second Geoheritage Day which will be held on Sunday, October 20 from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The CCCA in partnership with Carleton University’s Earth Sciences Department will be set up on Watters Road East near the bridge and in front of the karst.
