Pel­let gun in­ci­dent in Or­léans

The Ottawa Po­lice Ser­vice is ask­ing for pub­lic as­sis­tance in lo­cat­ing wit­nesses or per­sons that would have knowl­edge of a male, who shot at a pedes­trian with a pel­let gun on Oc­to­ber 7, 2013 at ap­prox. 12:15pm. The in­ci­dent oc­curred in the area of Tenth line Road and Des Épinettes Av­enue and the shooter was an un­known white male pas­sen­ger in a ve­hi­cle. The pas­sen­ger had the win­dow down as the ve­hi­cle drove past the fe­male vic­tim and shot her in the back and the ve­hi­cle then fled the scene. The ve­hi­cle was a newer model four door sil­ver Honda Civic. The vic­tim sus­tained mi­nor in­juries.
