Hon­our­ing Cory Wyne

Or­léans Army Cadet 3018’s Chief War­rant Of­fi­cer, Cory Wyne, was hon­oured at a spe­cial cer­e­mony, last week, as he is re­tir­ing from the Cadets Pro­gram.

CWO Wyne joined Cadets as a 12 year old in De­cem­ber of 2006. When his fam­ily moved to Ottawa in 2011, Wyne be­came a mem­ber of 3018. He was pro­moted to the rank of Chief War­rant Of­fi­cer in the fall of 2012 and ap­pointed the Corps’ Reg­i­men­tal Sergeant Ma­jor.

CWO Wyne will be re­placed by Mas­ter War­rant Of­fi­cer Zachary Ha­zle­dine.

To rec­og­nize all the hard work he has put into the com­mu­nity, he was pre­sented with cer­tifi­cates from MP Royal Gali­peau, MPP Phil McNeely, Mayor Jim Wat­son and Coun­cil­lor Bob Monette.
