WITH AV­O­CADO AIOLI

A clas­sic burger, with a twist! Serve it with chips, salsa and Mar­gar­i­tas and you’ve got a fi­esta hap­pen­ing!

PREP TIME: 15 min­utes SERVES: 4

BBQ TIME: 8-10 min­utes Serve on buns or in let­tuce leaves

IN­GRE­DI­ENTS:

1 lb (454g) lean ground beef 2 tbsp (30 mL) taco sea­son­ing Small red onion, cut into rings Tomato slices Let­tuce Pick­led jalapeño pep­pers sliced ham­burger buns

AV­O­CADO AIOLI:

1/4 cup (50 mL) may­on­naise 1/2 av­o­cado, mashed 1 tbsp (15 mL) freshly squeezed lemon juice 1 tsp (5 mL) minced gar­lic

MEHTOD:

In medium bowl com­bine beef and taco sea­son­ing. Di­vide mix­ture into 4 and form into pat­ties. Re­frig­er­ate un­til ready to BBQ. In small bowl com­bine may­on­naise, av­o­cado, lemon juice and gar­lic. Purée to de­sired smooth­ness us­ing hand im­mer­sion blen­der or fork. Re­frig­er­ate un­til serv­ing time. Pre­heat BBQ to 400F. Grill burg­ers for 4 min­utes each side or un­til in­ter­nal tem­per­a­ture reaches min­i­mum 165F. Serve on bun or let­tuce leaves. Gar­nish with onions, toma­toes, let­tuce, jalapeños and av­o­cado aioli. Gar­nish with tomato slices and jalapeño.

KOREY’S TIPS Add 1/3 cup (80 mL) corn niblets to beef mix­ture.
