❚ OUA men’s hockey: Brad Albert, Joey Manley, Brandon Maclean, Shane Bakker and Connor Barrett scored goals as Carleton (9-4-0) beat visiting Ryerson (5-5-2) 5-3.
❚ OUA men’s hockey: Matthieu Methot and Alexandre Touchette both had two goals, and Mathieu Leduc, Guillaume Donovan and Dominic Jalbert all had one as Ottawa (8-4-2) blasted visiting Nipissing (8-3-4) by a 7-1 score.
❚ OCAA women’s basketball: Sandre Bascoe scored 18 points to lead the Algonquin Thunder past the host Fleming Knights 59-40 in Peterborough, improving to 3-1.
❚ OCAA men’s basketball: Despite 13 points from Dut Dut, Algonquin lost 67-64 in overtime to Fleming, falling to 5-1. Meanwhile, La Cité Coyotes lost 93-67 to the host Durham Lords, dropping to 1-5.
❚ OCAA volleyball: Algonquin swept Fleming, winning three sets to none in men’s play and 3-1 in women’s. La Cité edged Trent 3-2 in men’s action, but lost the women’s match 3-0.
