Canada’s 150th Garden bulbplanti­ng event

is looking for help getting 1,000 red and white tulips in the ground for the Spencervil­le celebrator­y garden, on Saturday, Oct. 22, noon to 4 p.m., Mill Riverside Park, 11 Water St., Spencervil­le. Take a trowel. This garden, among 149 celebrator­y others across the country, will be featured on Canada’s Garden Route.
