Margot Robbie eyes queen role

Margot Robbie is in talks to play Queen Elizabeth in the film Mary Queen of Scots, says Variety. Josie Rourke is directing the film, from Focus Features and Working Title. The script is based on John Guy’s book The True Life of Mary Stuart. The movie isn’t yet greenlit, but sources say things are looking good. If it goes ahead, the movie will hit theatres later this year. Saoirse Ronan would play the title role of Mary. She recently wrapped production on I, Tonya, in which she plays Tonya Harding.
