Fatal truck crash victim identified
Provincial police have identified the victim in one of two fatal tractortrailer collisions in the Cornwall area over a 13hour period on Sept. 7-8. Jasmin Campeau, 31, of Cornwall was identified as the person killed when the car he was driving collided with a tractor-trailer on Highway 401 near South Stormont. Meanwhile, police said the investigation continues into a crash 13 hours earlier involving three tractor-trailers on Highway 401 near South Stormont. The investigation indicates two eastbound rigs collided, with the second truck caroming into a third tractor-trailer. The second tractor-trailer became engulfed in flames and the occupant was pronounced deceased at the scene. He has yet to be identified. The drivers of the other rigs weren’t injured.
