Harris was very sharp—he had 487 yards passing, and the Redblacks moved up and down the field much of the night. But, man oh man, those turnovers were killers. Four fumbles, three of them lost, and an interception — talk about deflating the tires. Running back William Powell got it going on the last drive and had 104 yards on 17 carries. Greg Ellingson had 11 catches, Brad Sinopoli had eight, Dominique Rhymes had seven and RJ Harris and Diontae Spencer each had four.
Good effort, especially after having to adjust following an injury to Antoine Pruneau, who had five tackles before departing. Jonathan Newsome, returning from the six-game injured list, had a fumble recovery on a ball knocked loose by Jonathan Rose. Danny Mason and AC Leonard each had a sack.
Special Teams: B+
Nothing spectacular, just another solid effort. Steady rookie Lewis Ward booted another three field goals (he hasn’t missed since Week 1). Punter Richie Leone averaged 48.3 yards, including a boot that travelled 67 yards and led to Montreal conceding a safety.
