Car was the least of his worries
Leeds County OPP officers were pumping gas on Highway 29 north of Brockville late Thursday, when a passing motorist caught their eyes. The southbound car had one burnt-out headlight, no tail lights and was running on only three proper tires when it was stopped at about 11:10 p.m. The fourth wheel rode on a rim. Officers arrested a Pierrefonds, Que., man for impaired driving and operating a motor vehicle with more than the legal limit of alcohol in his blood. He was also charged with driving while disqualified and failing to comply with a probation order. Thomas Carr, 44, was to appear at a bail hearing on Friday in Brockville.
