Po­lice hunt bus stab­ber

Po­lice have is­sued a de­scrip­tion of a man af­ter a man was stabbed aboard an OC Transpo bus in down­town Ot­tawa in the early hours of Thurs­day.

The vic­tim’s wounds were not con­sid­ered life-threat­en­ing, po­lice said.

Po­lice and paramedics were called just af­ter 2 a.m. to Al­bert and Kent Sts. and found the vic­tim stabbed in a fight. The at­tacker fled. Later in the day, po­lice de­scribed the at­tacker as a black man, 18-22 years old, 6 feet, 2 inches tal, who had a thin build.

He was clean-shaven, had long, braided hair, and was wear­ing an army cam­ou­flage short jacket and skinny jeans.
