It’s not like the Red­blacks have stunk. They’ve lost five games by a to­tal mar­gin of 13 points. The Eski­mos have been the re­verse of that. At 6-0, Ed­mon­ton isn’t crush­ing any­one, but finds a way to win. Each of Ot­tawa’s games has been set­tled by five points or less ... Ed­mon­ton has won 5-of-7 games life­time ver­sus the Red­blacks, but its 23-21 win last month snapped a two-game Ot­tawa win streak. Ed­mon­ton over­came a nine-point deficit with a 20-0 run, get­ting 10 points off two Ot­tawa turnovers ... Five of the past six meet­ings have come down the fi­nal three min­utes ... The Eski­mos will start a guy, LaDar­ius Perkins, who may have been their fourth-string run­ning back. Hard to argue with the re­sults, though. He put up 105 yards on 19 car­ries against Hamil­ton last week ... With Wil­liam Pow­ell out, Ot­tawa has Mos­sis Madu Jr. at run­ning back. Madu Jr. has 134 yards on 29 car­ries ... For ra­tio pur­poses, the Eski­mos will go with three start­ing Cana­dian re­ceivers — Cory Wat­son, Chris Get­zlaf and Shamawd Cham­bers.
