ON THIN ICE! Luc Smith of Moonbeam, Ont., writes, “Back in 2008 a group of friends and I built a large raft and navigated from Hearst, Ont., to Fort Albany on the James Bay Coast. The 400-kilometre trip lasted ten days during which everyone on board had the pleasure of reading Our Canada. This photo of me was taken by my friend Yvon Fortin—we were at the intersection of the Albany and Kenogami Rivers in northern Ontario. A large ice floe enabled us to set up a lawn chair and snap a truly original pic!”

A WELL-DESERVED BREAK Eilene Wendorf of Sudbury writes, “This is my granddaughter Alyssa enjoying reading her Our Canada in the snow house she had just built.”
