Easter Time

Our Canada - - Bulletin Board -

Debbie Roy of Winnipeg writes, “It was the year 1962 and I was ten years old. We lived in the country and attended a typically small country church—15 families in all. For Easter, my mom made me a yellow dress with white trim and a bow. I also wore white ankle socks and black patent shoes. The windows in church were open; meadow larks sang—as did the choir. After church, we headed home where our relatives joined us to enjoy a bountiful Easter feast that mom prepared. What wonderful memories!”
