Jo-anne Sheanh’s story “A Trea­sure Re­claimed (Fe­bru­aryMarch 2017) brought back mem­o­ries of an even older au­to­graph book owned by my mother. Born in 1892, her en­tries were dated be­tween 1900-1905 but con­tained sim­i­lar ma­te­rial in­clud­ing the sketches. One, how­ever, was dif­fer­ent, writ­ten by her cousin Bart, it read: “If when I get to Heaven and see not your smil­ing face, I’ll pack up my port­man­teau and try the other place.”
