Adam Jamieson and Sean MacKinnon will be rid­ing for Ireland's An Post-Chain Re­ac­tion, a UCI Con­ti­nen­tal Professional cycling team, for the next sea­son. Both rid­ers were with the Next Gen Men's Track En­durance (MTE) pro­gram in 2016.

The two team­mates have also raced with the men's Team Pur­suit squad that re­cently took home a sil­ver medal and a sub-four-minute time at the Pan Am Track Cham­pi­onships in Mex­ico with Jamieson on board. Most re­cently, Jamieson was a mem­ber of the squad that won gold at the Apel­doorn UCI Track World Cup in Novem­ber 2016.

Jamieson, 20, won the 114km Lierde Cir­cuit race in Bel­gium on July 25 rid­ing for RaceClean Canada. In Au­gust, he fin­ished eighth at the 113km Over­i­jse Ker­messe in Bel­gium and sixth at the 160km UCI 1.2 Grand Prix des Mar­bri­ers in France.

MacKinnon, also 20, com­peted at the UCI World Cham­pi­onships in Doha, where he fin­ished 16th at the U23 ITT and 135th in the road race. In May of this year, he claimed the Best Young Rider jer­sey at the 2016 Fleche du Sud in Lux­em­bourg af­ter he fin­ished sev­enth on the 148.9km Stage Four and ended up 10th over­all in the fi­nal GC.

Reg­is­tered in Ireland, the An Post-Chain Re­ac­tion team is based at the Sean Kelly Acad­emy in Mer­chtem, Bel­gium.
