Garneau Steeple-XC

The Garneau Steeple-XC cy­clocross bike is ready for any chal­lenge: com­mut­ing, ex­pe­di­tion, full-speed rac­ing, even rid­ing on the road. With a full-car­bon fork and wide mud-clear­ing seat­stays and chain­stays, this ride can ac­com­mo­date up to a 45C tire, and the front thru-axle pro­vides con­trol to build rider con­fi­dence and mo­men­tum through ev­ery turn. Pre­cise shift­ing is pro­vided with­out break­ing the bank, as it's equipped with Shi­mano 105 5800 shifters, brakes and de­railleurs plus a Shi­mano RS500 com­pact crank. Race-proven, and weather-tested, this bike pro­vides year-round ver­sa­til­ity. The SRP is $3,349.99.

Trek Boone 7 Disc

The Trek's Boone 7 Disc is the fastest, smoothest, light­est cy­clocross bike ever, thanks to its race ge­om­e­try and course-smooth­ing IsoSpeed tech­nol­ogy. The CX race ge­om­e­try was de­vel­oped with the as­sis­tance of the world's fastest rac­ers, and the 600 Series OCLV car­bon frame is ul­tra­light and cross-tough. IsoSpeed dou­bles com­pli­ance to con­quer the rough­est races and in­cludes in­ter­nal cable rout­ing and hid­den fender mounts. Spe­cial­ized CruX Ex­pert X1

When it comes to cy­clocross, the Spe­cial­ized CruX Ex­pert X1 has ev­ery­thing you need and noth­ing that you don't. Built around the car­bon frame and fork, it comes equipped with a cy­clocross-spe­cific SRAM Force 1 one-by driv­e­train, SWAT Box com­pat­i­bil­ity and a third bot­tle mount on the down­tube. The Spe­cial­ized FACT 10r car­bon frame with rear thru-axle com­bines all the light­weight re­spon­sive­ness and rigid­ity of 11r with min­i­mal weight gains and comes with in­ter­nal rout­ing. The Spe­cial­ized FACT car­bon fork with thru-axle in­creases steer­ing re­sponse. The SRAM Force 1 sin­gle-ring crankset pro­vides plenty of gear­ing op­tions with­out the has­sle of di­al­ing in a front de­railleur, and the Spe­cial­ized Terra Pro wheels are tube­less-ready. The SRP is $5,429.

With all the ben­e­fits of Raleigh's top-of-the-line car­bon frame, but in a light­weight alu­minum chas­sis, the RX 2.0 is a ver­sa­tile bike for cy­clocross and gravel ad­ven­tures. Thru-axles in­crease stiff­ness and pro­vide per­fect ro­tor align­ment, while the me­chan­i­cal brakes are both pow­er­ful and re­li­able.
