SUMMERLAND — Following a public hearing Monday at which no one spoke, council adopted a bylaw to rezone property at 5010 Croil Avenue in Trout Creek that will allow for a two-lot subdivision.

The zoning was changed from residential estate lot zone to residential large lot zone.

“The proposed rezoning would create a residential infill opportunity with the retention of the existing single family dwelling and the potential addition of a new single family dwelling on a new lot,” director of development services Dean Strachan said at the time of second reading in June.
