WFN marks open­ing of cen­tre

West­bank First Na­tion’s new Early Years Cen­tre is cel­e­brat­ing its grand open­ing today.

The Early Years Cen­tre, which for­merly held pro­grams and ser­vices at the WFN Health and Well­ness build­ing, is now lo­cated on the top floor of the WFN Youth Cen­tre, which opened in Jan­uary.

The grand open­ing will take place at the Youth Cen­tre, 1880 Quail Lane, with speeches and cake cut­ting from 3 to 4 p.m., and an open house from 4 to 6 p.m.

There will also be in­for­ma­tion booths set up by lo­cal or­ga­ni­za­tions, in­clud­ing Okana­gan Re­gional Li­brary, the Sncewips Her­itage Mu­seum, Sen­sisyusten House of Learn­ing and the West­bank Child De­vel­op­ment Cen­tre.
