Who’s sorry now?

Prairie Post (East Edition) - - Opinion -

When reviewing history, the Canadian Wheat Board (CWB) marketing power was gone August 1st 2012, thanks to Harper and Ritz.

A study financed by the Alberta Wheat Commission found during the next two crop years a farmer growing 1000 acres of 35 bushels per acre wheat lost about $!20,000. The loss was absorbed by the grain handling and rail companies.

For a 10,000 acre farmer, one who likely voted for Harper, that support cost him over a million dollars. Remember, the same losses are ongoing.

Should the Western Canadian Wheat Grower organization, or anybody else, be proud of the support given Harper in dissolving the CWB?
