Women donate to hospital
Members from the Prairie Women On Snowmobiles have improved the Chemotherapy Unit at the Victoria Regional Hospital for both staff and patients. The women have dedicated themselves to raising funds yearly for cancer care in Saskatchewan and fundraised to help enhance and improve the unit in our hospital.
In 2016, the group hosted a golf tournament at Mark’s Nine Golf Course to raise funds for Prince Albert patients. With the monies raised, they purchased two new desks, a computer, a flat screen television, an office chair and 5 stacking chairs for the department.
