Magic on Every Page

This issue is bittersweet, as we close with our final instalment of Allaigna’s Song: Overture by JM Landels. Many devoted readers have followed the adventures of Allaigna, her mother Lauresa, and her grandmother Irdaign. Those who’ve kept up will recognize in the cover image Allaigna’s discovery that she can command magic. We thank cover artist and Songbird contest winner Kris Sayer for the magnificent painting that captured this pivotal moment so well.

The double meaning of our cover image comes from the feeling we three editors get when we read the stories we’ve curated for our magazine.
