Haim released their debut album Days Are Gone in September 2013, and now they have stated that they hope their sophomore album will be ready in time for a fall release. The trio has been recording with ex-Vampire Weekend member Rostam Batmanglij, and told Rolling Stone Magazine that this time around they are planning a more organic rock album. While 2013’s ARTPOP might not have been a critical success, Lady Gaga has used the criticism of her album to continue to elevate her sound and redefine her career. Since then she’s moved from doing jazz with Tony Bennett to performing a traditional tribute to The Sound of Music at the Oscars, and even becoming a TV star on American Horror Story: Hotel. Now it appears as if the 30-year-old is ready to head back to where it all began. She’s been working with songwriter and producer

RedOne, who helped launch Gaga’s career with Just Dance and Poker Face, and has said she wants her fans to be surprised by the music on the new album.

With their new song Wherever I Go released in May, OneRepublic has given their fans a glimpse of what’s to come with their new album, expected later this year. The band started writing the new songs in August 2014 while on a world tour, and recorded the album during the tour. Lead vocalist Ryan Tedder stated on the group’s website that it was necessary for them to create the album while on the road because “all the truly inspiring places of the world invented the sound we chased.”
