Toronto, October 1
The 11th edition of Nuit Blanche in Toronto will have more than 80 art projects on display with four curated exhibitions produced by the City of Toronto. These art projects were created by local, national and international artists who developed oneof- a- kind installations that help transform the city from sundown to sun- up once a year. The curated exhibitions include Militant Nostalgia, which is made up of 10 individual artistic projects that look back at the past while looking forward to the present and future; And The Transformation Reveals, which explores the mystery of transformation through multiple art installations that stretch along Bay Street from Dundas Street to Front Street; Facing the Sky, which will see 10 projects inspired by the sky; and Oblivion, which features three monumental projects located at Nathan Phillips Square and City Hall that explore the sun, the water and the Earth. Catch a reinvented Toronto when the show takes place on October 1.
