With several hit TV Shows under her belt ( Boston Legal, Person of Interest and Empire) and an Academy Award nomination for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Taraji P. Henson’s career has certainly been moving. In her memoir Around the Way Girl, she continues to inspire as she talks candidly about her family, friends and what it takes to make it in Hollywood. In it, she shares stories about her journey to success while being a single mother, and the pitfalls that come with being a black actress. Throughout it all, Henson shows that no matter how much glitz and glamour she displays on the red carpet, she is always authentic.
