TABITHA SIMMONS DISHES ON STYLING, FASHION ADVICE AND FAL MUST-HAVES .

Real Style - - If The Show Fits -

ON HER STYLING MANTRA:

I have found that at first I look at trends of the season for inspiration, but then tend to ignore them and just go with my instinct.

ON WHAT SHE’LL BE ADDING TO HER CLOSET FOR FALL:

My Bexley ski boots—I cannot wait to wear them!

ON STYLING A CATWALK SHOW:

I really go in and think about the brand’s DNA. It’s really important that every brand has a DNA, has a style, whether it’s minimal, or feminine, or over-the-top. For me, it’s very, very, important. I think, what can I do, working within the DNA, to make this the best show you could imagine.

ON PEOPLE WHO ASK HER FOR FASHION ADVICE:

I’m so happy to give it, because I always have an opinion about something.

ON WHAT SHE MISSES ABOUT ENGLAND:

I miss the food, which is a really odd thing to say living in New York. If somebody said that to me—if you move away, that’s the thing you would miss about England— I would have thought they were mad. It’s only when you go away where you think, “Gosh, I really miss that.” Like home comforts.

“I want a comfortable shoe, but it still looks very fashion.”
