Saje Nat­u­ral Well­ness may have been founded in Van­cou­ver, but the plant-based Cana­dian sk­in­care line has been spread­ing its wings across North Amer­ica. The com­pany was launched in 1992 by hus­band and wife team Jean-Pierre and Kate Ross LeBlanc, af­ter Jean-Pierre en­coun­tered health trou­bles fol­low­ing a car ac­ci­dent. The LeBlancs be­gan with a mod­est shop in North Van­cou­ver, but now have stores across Canada and even in the United States. From soy can­dles and or­ganic teas to face scrubs and soaps, love is grow­ing for Saje’s all­nat­u­ral prod­uct line. With lo­ca­tions in Toronto’s York­dale Shop­ping Cen­tre and Sher­way Gar­dens, a new Saje is slated to open at Scar­bor­ough Town Cen­tre this spring, where beauty lovers can try the brand’s pop­u­lar heal­ing oils, which prom­ise to treat headaches, al­ler­gies and di­ges­tive is­sues.
