Ardent Dutch fans come out in full bloom

The Netherlands is making its presence felt at the speed-skating venue, on and off the ice.

Orange was the dominant theme for Dutch fans’ outfits as they watched the men’s 5,000-metre race at the Gangneung Oval on Sunday. Souja Vervaet, who came from Hulst, the Netherlands, cheered the skaters along with three of her friends, all of whom were wearing handmade tulip-motif hats.
