A triple shooting occurred at the corner of Pine Valley Drive and Highway 407 in Vaughan. Just before midnight on July 17, York Regional Police ( YRP) officers arrived at the scene to find three male victims suffering from gunshot wounds in front of a bar. The male suspect allegedly had a long gun and fled the premises on foot. YRP is currently looking for suspects and believes this shooting was targeted. This was the latest in a series of violent events across the city of Vaughan.
York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit is seeking public assistance following a robbery at a pharmacy in Richmond Hill. The incident occurred on July 3 at Major Mackenzie Drive and Bayview Avenue, when a male suspect approached employees in the pharmacy and demanded cash. The suspect went to the safe and took cash, fentanyl and other prescription narcotics before leaving in a black sedan. The store employees were unharmed. The investigation is ongoing.
An unknown male suspect is wanted for allegedly exposing himself to two people in a parking lot in Richmond Hill on June 19. The suspect did not appear to be wearing regular pants at the time of the incident, only boxers-style underwear. He approached the two victims in the parking lot of Kitchen Stuff Plus on Yonge Street and exposed himself to them. York Regional Police is now seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
