The York School is a co­ed­u­ca­tional, in­de­pen­dent day school lo­cated in the heart of mid­town Toronto. We were the first school in Canada and the fourth in North Amer­ica ac­cred­ited to of­fer the In­ter­na­tional Bac­calau­re­ate pro­gramme for stu­dents from Ju­nior Kinder­garten to Grade 12, mak­ing us a se­lect IB Con­tin­uum School. The IB Diploma is the ul­ti­mate pass­port for a grow­ing num­ber of glob­al­ly­minded stu­dents who will travel, work and live all over the world. We of­fer an in­ter­na­tion­ally-rec­og­nized ed­u­ca­tional pro­gramme, but pay equal at­ten­tion to the de­vel­op­ment of our stu­dents – so­cially, emo­tion­ally, in­tel­lec­tu­ally and phys­i­cally. Through our in­no­va­tive cur­ric­u­lar and co-cur­ric­u­lar of­fer­ings, we de­velop in­quir­ing, knowl­edge­able and car­ing young peo­ple who are en­gaged cit­i­zens of the world.
