Located inside the Promenade mall, BZZ-E-Kidz is an indoor playground and multi-sport gym that gives kids the opportunity to be active. With family membership and single play options available, parents are welcome to bring their children here while they shop. BZZ-E-Kidz also has an afterschool program, where kids are encouraged to be active. The staff here focuses on encouraging an active lifestyle. Prices vary depending on the day and activity chosen (1 Promenade Cir., 905-886-5439).

Zuí Lá, a new restaurant in Markham, gives its customers a taste of Chinese and Asian fusion cuisines. The dishes here invoke traditional Asian flavours, with a variety of hot pot dishes and entrees packed with flavour and classic ingredients. Assorted fresh lobster noodles and homemade squid ball with hot and sour sauce are some of the dishes offered (115 Times Ave., Unit B2–3, 905-597-8803).

Refresh Wellness, a clinic specializing in physical therapy, opened its doors with a special event on Sept. 29. Services offered at this clinic include chiropractic treatment, physiotherapy and registered massage therapy. It also has a medical doctor specializing in sports injuries (2180 Hwy. 7, Unit 16, 905-709-4772). Eastern European flavours with a modern twist have arrived to Richmond Hill. Stroganoff Restaurant offers classic eastern European favourites such as beef stroganoff (of course) and baked salmon. This restaurant has something for all taste palates. A large selection of salads and other dishes give vegetarian customers some delicious options as well (10 Headdon Gate, Unit 2–3, 905-780-7575). In the mood for some barbecue? Muchachos Grill

Canada should be the next restaurant you visit. The newly opened spot has a unique menu, offering dishes inspired by east African flavours. Customers can enjoy Mishkaki chicken and beef, served with Peri fries or perhaps just a plain old cheeseburger. Meat lovers will have plenty to choose from at this restaurant, and the prices are very reasonable, and it’s open late! (426 Major Mackenzie Dr. E., Unit 1, 905237-8479).

All You Knead has opened its first location in Vaughan, offering the same delicious baked goods the company has offered on online. It has custom cupcakes, birthday cakes, wedding cakes and many other festive cakes, as well as cake pops and cookies. The ultimate goal of the staff that works there is to make any idea a customer may have into an edible piece of art (9505 Keele St., 905-553-5500).
