If you re­ceive an in­vi­ta­tion let­ter in the mail in Fall 2016, you and mem­bers of your house­hold (over the age of 11) are en­cour­aged to par­tic­i­pate in the Trans­porta­tion To­mor­row Sur­vey, the largest sur­vey of its kind in Canada. Your house­hold’s par­tic­i­pa­tion in this sur­vey is crit­i­cal to the project’s suc­cess. The Trans­porta­tion To­mor­row Sur­vey is an im­por­tant tool to sup­port plan­ning for trans­porta­tion in­fra­struc­ture and ser­vices in your com­mu­nity and across cen­tral On­tario.

The Trans­porta­tion To­mor­row Sur­vey (TTS) is used to:

find how, why, and where ran­domly se­lected res­i­dents of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Greater Golden Horse­shoe (GGH) area of On­tario use trans­porta­tion daily help gov­ern­ments and tran­sit agen­cies plan for fu­ture trans­porta­tion needs in your com­mu­nity The 2016 Trans­porta­tion To­mor­row Sur­vey is funded by 22 govern­ment or­ga­ni­za­tions in­clud­ing the Min­istry of Trans­porta­tion of On­tario (MTO), Metrolinx/ GO Tran­sit, the Toronto Tran­sit Com­mis­sion (TTC), and 19 mu­nic­i­pal­i­ties across the Greater Toronto and Greater Golden Horse­shoe area. R.A. Malat­est & As­so­ci­ates is con­duct­ing the 2016 sur­vey, in co­op­er­a­tion with the Univer­sity of Toronto’s Data Man­age­ment Group, on be­half the fund­ing part­ners.
