OTA & INDO-CANADA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SIGN MOU
Trucking Town Hall Held in Toronto
The Indo-canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) and the Ontario Trucking Association (OTA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) which enables both groups to forge a mutually beneficial relationship for their respective members as well as co-marketing educational events to attract leaders in the trucking industry. Primarily, the agreement will enhance the relationship between OTA member carriers and transportation companies in the South Asian community.
To mark the MOU, the OTA hosted a trucking issues town hall meeting at the Westin Toronto Airport hotel on February 22nd.
The well attended event featured informative updates on key issues like Electronic Logging Devices (ELDS), Mandatory Entry Level Training (MELT), ESDC audits, border crossing issues and other key matters affecting the industry.
OTA had its key staff on hand to answer questions from the audience.
