On February 15th at Only One Gallery in Toronto, Cadillac hosted The Future of Design, a panel discussion inspired by the Cadillac Escala. Moderated by Design Exchange President Shauna Levy, the panel included international artist Daniel Arsham, Michelle Killen, and Laetitia Lopez, the creative designers behind the colour and trim of the Escala concept, as well as fashion design and tech entrepreneur Femka Van Buuren. Guests got the opportunity to witness the Cadillac Escala up close on display alongside a set of three custom-designed bags by Canadian designer Jason Wu. The attendees were the first group in Canada to experience Arsham’s VR film Circa 2345 produced by Jaunt VR, since it made its debut last month at Sundance. Mahmoud Samara, the managing director of Cadillac Canada, was also in attendance to see the magic of The Future of Design unfold.
