On May 4th, more than 700 of Toronto’s leading executives, entrepreneurs, celebrities, notables and tastemakers descended on the newly renovated Waterworks building to celebrate Sharp magazine’s 10th anniversary and the launch of The Book for Men’s Spring/Summer 2017 issue. Among the night’s highlights: guests were invited to be featured on their very own collectible cover of Sharp, posing alongside their choice of Jaguar or Land Rover. Following a visit to the Tweezerman barbershop for a quick trim, guests could try on a selection of Breitling timepieces, admire the precision of Miyabi knives, and enter the Paco Rabanne 180-degree photo booth for a fun photo to commemorate the soiree. There were no shortage of libations with whiskey tastings from Glenmorangie, beer from Peroni, and a Robert Mondavi wine bar by American Crew, while Crystal Head Vodka and Martell Cognac provided creative cocktails. Tying everything together were some cool beats played throughout the night by Wayhome’s guest DJ, Sophie Jones.
