SACKVILLE, N.B. – Sackville’s visitor information centre will be getting a bit
of a makeover this year.
Town council approved the contract for the repainting of the VIC, a project identified as a priority for the tourism department for 2017. Coming in at a cost of $6,785, the work done by Windy Marsh Painting and Taping Inc. will also include a “few minor repairs” to replace rotting
wood on the building.
Tourism manager Ron Kelly-spurles said five local companies were contacted for quotes to do this work, with two bids received by the deadline and the lowest quote coming in well within the budget. Tribune-post Staff
