Tantra­mar Her­itage Trust to Host Make It! Chil­dren’s Work­shops Se­ries

The Tantra­mar Her­itage Trust’s Make It! Chil­dren’s Work­shop se­ries is re­turn­ing for the sum­mer of 2027, tak­ing place Wed­nes­day morn­ings in July from 10 a.m. to noon at the Camp­bell Car­riage Fac­tory Mu­seum (19 Church St., Mid­dle Sackville).

Each work­shop boasts a unique theme and an ar­ray of fun and en­gag­ing ac­tiv­i­ties for chil­dren ages six to 15. The spe­cific lineup of work­shops is as fol­lows:

– Make It Bake – Gather around the fire to learn about fire safety, talk about the his­tory of cook­ing, and make your own bread and but­ter.

– Make It Wild – Go for a na­ture walk down the Trans Canada Trail, learn how to iden­tify wildlife, ex­plore the wilder­ness, and make your own bird feeder to take home.

– Make It Grow – Dis­cover the mag­i­cal world of gar­den­ing, learn about the power of plants and flow­ers, and plant some­thing of your very own.

– Make It Paper – Make a va­ri­ety of fun and unique crafts from paper, in­clud­ing a hand­made notebook, air­planes and even some origami.
