It is with sad­ness we an­nounce the peace­ful pass­ing of Clarence Wil­liam Wheaton, age 91, of Midgic, NB. Clarence passed away at the Sackville Me­mo­rial Hos­pi­tal on Tues­day, Oc­to­ber 23, 2018.

Born in Midgic, NB, he was a son of the late Mer­ley and Ethel (Phin­ney) Wheaton.

Clarence worked at En­ter­prise Foundry un­til his re­tire­ment, but his real pas­sion was his farm in Midgic. He was for­ever a farmer, car­ing for his an­i­mals and land. His pride was his fam­ily, his wife, his girls and his grand­chil­dren and great grand­chil­dren.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Betty, Sackville, NB; daugh­ters Lois (John) Wood, Wood Point, NB, Starr (Barry) Parker, Monc­ton, NB, Janet (Ge­off) Jo­han­nt­ges, Cal­gary, AB, Jan­ice (Denny) Amos, Sackville, NB, Wanda (Dan) John­son, Wood­point, NB, and Ca­role Wheaton, Monc­ton, NB; 13 grand­chil­dren; 22 great grand­chil­dren; brother Floyd (Di­ane) Wheaton, Midgic, NB; sis­ter Cassie (Ernie) Harper, Sackville, NB; sis­ters in law Gertrude Wheaton, Mad­die Wheaton and Norma Hicks, all of Sackville, NB, Jackie Hicks, Oshawa, ON; sev­eral nieces and neph­ews.

He was pre­de­ceased by sis­ters Mar­garet Beal, Nita Boudreau, Geneva Cross­man, Erma Hicks, Don­nie Read; broth­ers Re­tias, Doug, Her­man, Ce­cil,

Ar­range­ments have been en­trusted to Jones Fu­neral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-3641300) from where vis­it­ing hours took place on Fri­day, Oc­to­ber 26, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. A fu­neral ser­vice for Clarence was held from the Jones Fu­neral Home, Sackville, NB, on Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 27, 2018, at 2 p.m., Pas­tor Paul Bed­ford of­fi­ci­at­ing. Burial fol­lowed in the Midgic Ceme­tery.
