Dream Maker’s Summer Acting Camp for stage and film is a fun, high-energy program that allows kids of all ages the opportunity to fully engage their imaginations as they experience the thrill of acting in different styles. The camp is a great way to discover the joys of drama, explore the creative self and make wonderful new friends. Campers participate in a wide variety of acting activities, including learning the basic techniques of acting for the stage and film, improvisation, voice projection, scene study and development, imagination play, storytelling and much more.

The camp emphasizes drama games and exercises designed to increase spontaneity, engage the imagination, promote self-confidence and encourage team work. At the end of each session, students share their work in a performance for family and friends in a great showcase. The young actors will also have the opportunity to experience acting on a set with high tech HD movie cameras, filming scenes for a kid’s TV show. All participants will also be taking part in a national Film Festival project that will be seen by people from around the country. Last summer, five of our students were invited to Toronto for auditions for a TV show and a large movie production.

Each day includes group games, sports, arts and crafts, a swim day and social time. It’s a summer your child will never forget! The camp runs from July 5-9 and July 1216 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Please call 613-932-3510 for more information.
