Former manager charged with sexual assault
Woodstock police have charged a former restaurant manager with sexual assault. The manager at East Side Mario’s was fired last month following a media report about two servers quitting after claiming the restaurant didn’t take seriously their complaints about a supervisor’s behaviour. The pair alleged the supervisor harassed them for months at work by touching them inappropriately and making sexual comments, the report said. Adam Golton, 27, is charged with one count of sexual harassment, Woodstock police Const. Nikki Van Leeuwen said Tuesday. He’s scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 28.
