“We picked up some young grad­u­at­ing guys out of Nor­wich. Kevin Galerno has come back - so it’s look­ing good. We picked up Petro­lia’s lead­ing scorer (and MVP) from last year, Kraig Wright. He’s liv­ing closer to Till­son­burg now, so he de­cided he’d come play here. He’s helped out so far in the first cou­ple of games, I think he got three or four points.”

“He (Wright) is a good hard-nosed player,” said Holly.

“And we added Scott Stafford from St. Thomas,” said Ryan.

The team’s 10th an­niver­sary sea­son is a mile­stone, and the team may plan a pregame cer­e­mony to rec­og­nize it later in the sea­son, pos­si­bly work­ing it around Teddy Bear Toss.

“We hope to be ex­tremely com­pet­i­tive for sea­son 10,” said Ryan, not­ing they hope to be wear­ing their 10th an­niver­sary arm patches Satur­day night.

Other teams to beat this year, said Ryan, in­clude Clin­ton and Saugeen Shores, and ru­mors have it that Ri­p­ley loaded up.
