Police ID victims in Middlesex triple homicide
Middlesex OPP officers are asking for the public’s help finding a grey pickup truck they believe is connected to the slaying of three residents of Six Nations of the Grand River whose bodies were discovered Sunday. Police say the two men and a woman were found just before 10 a.m. at or near a grey pickup parked in a field off Bodkin Road near Jones Drive in Middlesex Centre near the Oneida Nation of the Thames.
Dead are Michael Jamieson, 32, Melissa Miller, 37, and Alan Porter, 33. “Post-mortem examinations of the deceased at the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service in Toronto confirmed the deaths to be homicides,” Middlesex OPP said in a statement late Thursday afternoon.
Police did not release information about the cause of death. Anyone who saw a grey 2006 Chevrolet Silverado in the area of Bodkin Road before 10 a.m. on Sunday, or anyone with information about the slayings, is asked to call a new tip line at 1-844-677-5050, or the Six Nations Police Service at 519-4452811.
The deaths are being investigated by the Middlesex OPP major crime unit and police from Six Nations and Oneida Nation of the Thames.
