Christ Church Huntingford
This Sunday, on Remembrance Day, please join us 10 minutes north on Highway 59 at 10:30 a.m. for the service of holy communion celebrated by Rev. Rob Doerr. Following the service, we hope that you will stay for coffee, cookies and conversation. Christ Church is well over 150 years old and has been lovingly preserved. We are fully accessible with an elevator to all three levels. Our office is in the Church of the Epiphany building in Woodstock at the corner of Dundas and Wellington. Today, we will reflect with love and thanksgiving on the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice during the wars or who returned home, forever changed, to a country forever changed and free because of their fight on our behalf. On
Oct. 28, $850 was raised at our coffee hour to support Alzheimer’s. Hosts Karen and Rob Walton wish to thank everyone who contributed to this important cause. Thank you to Rev. Rob
Doerr for leading our worship service this morning while
Fr. Chris is on holidays. It is a real treat to have you and Carol with us today. Thank you as well to Kylie Poole for sharing her beautiful gift of music with us. On Thursday, Nov. 15, at 1:30 p.m., our ACW will meet in the Parish Hall. Our guest speaker will be Jo-Anne BSW. JoAnne is a project manager with the board of health, working to bring a dental clinic to Oxford to provide dental care to low-income adults. Everyone is welcome.
