The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel

The hotel’s iconic neon sign has been lighting up Hollywood Boulevard since 1927, and it’s been a beacon for Old Hollywood glamour ever since. In 1929 the hotel hosted the first-ever Academy Awards ceremony, and later became the favourite stopover of stars like Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe. No wonder Michelle Monaghan, whom we photographed in one of the hotel’s famous cabana suites, looked so perfectly at home there.
