Rededication ceremony at the Anglican Church of the Epiphany
A special ceremony of rededication was held Anglican Church of the Epiphany in Way’s Mills on Friday afternoon, officiated by the Venerable Archdeacon of the Diocese of Quebec, Father Edward Simonton. Although the church, which dates back to 1881, has gradually lost all its congregation through attrition, the efforts of a group of donors ensured the building's restoration and the preservation of a piece of local history. The church is currently host to one Christmas service a year held by candle-light, since it is still only lit by its original 19th century lamps.
