Meet Ocean Francoeur

The Record would like to introduce readers to the person behind the byline that has graced the pages of the paper throughout the summer.

Each year, The Record enlists the help of a local student to cover news events in the community.

Francoeur hit the ground running and was writing within her first two hours on the job.

Covering everything from the artful to the political, Francoeur was a tremendous asset to the editorial team and represented the paper with the highest level of professionalism.

She will begin her first year at Bishop’s University in the fall with a substantial writing portfolio and a keen sense of the surrounding community.

The Record would like to thank Francoeur for her hard this summer and wish her the best in future endeavours.
