Best Brome Fair ever for David Cameron’s candy booth

Sherbrooke Record - - CLASSIFIED - By Louise Smith

David Cameron has been at Brome Fair for over 30 years. He has always had booth No. 122 in the main exhibition hall building selling fudge and candy. He travels every year from Montreal but he originally hails from Pictou, Nova Scotia.

Usually on Fridays he spends the day setting up and Saturdays and Sundays are his busy days. He rates all his days out of 10 and usually Fridays are a “4”. This year Friday day and night were a “10”. Saturday was an “11” or “12”. He was basically sold out by sup- pertime on Saturday.

Sunday he was working on a crossword puzzle with just a few bags of candy left in the booth. He jokingly said he was offering free marital advice and free hugs. By Monday afternoon he had only one small bag left.

Despite the rain on Sunday, this was his best Brome Fair ever!
