In­stal­la­tion at Vic­to­ria Odd Fel­low Lodge in Coat­i­cook

On Oc­to­ber 3, 2017 mem­bers of Vic­to­ria # 16 Lodge had the plea­sure of re­ceiv­ing our Dis­trict Deputy Grand Mas­ter # 5, Fred Mosher and staff for In­stal­la­tion.

Prior to the meet­ing all present en­joyed pizza and dessert of cake and ice cream.

No­ble Grand James Mackay wel­comed all and thanked Fred and his team for com­ing to in­stall us. After eat­ing and clean-up we were sum­moned into our Meet­ing Hall, for our reg­u­lar meet­ing.

The meet­ing opened with James Mackay, No­ble Grand, of­fi­ci­at­ing. War­den Lloyd Smith proved all to be mem­bers, and Chap­lain Casey led us in the Open­ing Prayer.

Dis­trict Deputy Grand Mar­shal #5, Ed Cop­ping, asked to do In­tro­duc­tions and he did.

For Re­bekah As­sem­bly Of­fi­cers - Out­side Guardian, Nancy Bar­ton, of Sher­brooke; Left Her­ald, Dorothy Bab­bin, of Ayer’s Cliff; and Mu­si­cian, Ernes­tine Whip­ple, of Stanstead.

For Grand Lodge Ap­pointed Of­fi­cers Grand Chap­lain, Lloyd Smith of Hat­ley, and Arnold Mack­eage, of Stanstead. They were wel­comed and thanked for be­ing present.

Then Ed Cop­ping,who wears many BIG hats as Grand Rep­re­sen­ta­tive of Grand Lodge of Que­bec, also Sov­er­eign Grand Mar­shal for Sov­er­eign Grand Mas­ter John Miller of Conn. pre­sented Elec­tive Of­fi­cers of Grand Lodge of Que­bec - his wife, Joyce Cop­ping; and our Dis­trict Deputy Grand Mas­ter #5 Fred Mosher, of Stanstead. All re­ceived “the Hon­ours”.

After all busi­ness was taken care of those who wished to speak had a chance to do so.

After all had ex­pressed their plea­sure at be­ing here, our DDGM#5 Fred con­grat­u­lated all the Of­fi­cers and thanked the lodge for his meal. He also ex­tended “the Greet­ings” from Grand Lodge and his own per­sonal greet­ings. He hopes we all have a good year and re­minded us of the need for new mem­bers.

No fur­ther busi­ness, Lodge closed “in form” and next meet­ing is for Novem­ber. James hoped we had en­joyed this meet­ing and to have a safe trip home.
