Fourth armed rob­bery in Sher­brooke since Oc­to­ber

Athief wear­ing a hoodie has been on a spree in Sher­brooke since the be­gin­ning of Oc­to­ber, rob­bing four lo­ca­tions since Oct. 1. The sus­pect com­mit­ted an­other rob­bery on Tues­day morn­ing, this time, at the Sa­lon de Parvis de Sher­brooke.

The sus­pect, aged ap­prox­i­mately in his for­ties, turned up at about 2:30 in the morn­ing Tues­day armed with a pis­tol and de­manded the con­tents of the cash drawer be­fore flee­ing the scene.

This ap­proach and the de­scrip­tion of the sus­pect is the same as that in three other armed rob­beries re­cently com­mit­ted in Sher­brooke.

The same in­di­vid­ual hit the Couchetard at 2558 Galt Street West on Oct. 1 and two Ul­tra­mar ser­vice sta­tions on Ch. de Saint-élie and Jac­ques-cartier Boule­vard on Oct. 6.

Po­lice are an­a­lyz­ing sur­veil­lance cam­eras in the es­tab­lish­ments tar­geted.
