Salon du livre de l’estrie arrives in Sherbrooke
The 40th edition of the Salon du livre de l’estrie will be held at the Centre de Foires in Sherbrooke, from Thursday Oct. 11 to Sunday Oct.14. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The event is free for children under 6, $3 for children between 6 and 18, $5 for adults, and $15 for a four-day pass. Families of two adults and two children can also purchase a $12 family pass for a day.
Normand Baillargeon, a prolific philosopher and essayist, will be this year’s honorary president. Télé-québec’s La Fabrique culturelle will also present “Panoramique: 360o de poésie,” an immersive experience which guests will be able to access by wearing virtual reality headsets.
